How about AN '07 holds an Anime Karaoke event, most likely to be in the Doubletree? I don't really have that many details since this idea just came to me recently, but pretty much just have anime theme songs stored onto a computer or something, and have lyric sheets and a mic ready.

I karaoked Days by Flow...I sucked at every part -except- the rap part...sigh... But anyway, I'm sure something like that will be up again, it was on the program sheet, so you just need to get in touch with someone I guess.

The laptop should have Wi-Fi cause the hotel has free internet and you can access lyrics from there. I can do it, but I don't know if I have alot of songs. I have around 6000+ anime songs (I think) from when I used to be an internet DJ. Does anyone have a large monitor or projector? You're missing Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu - Hare Hare Yukai would probably be a popular karaoke song. And Chobits might be popular, too. As for artists - Morning Musume's pretty big and their songs are good for sing-alongs. Other than that, I can't think of anything you're missing.

I'm not sure if he had all that music but he did have a projector, and the room didn't seem to be in range of the net access for some reason. If popular Japanese artists will be included, you can't leave out the game themes. :x

EDIT ok i'm bored so i just broke down the song...i need a maximum of 7 other people to do it with me...i honestly don't mind if you're a girl or not, but the other voices are: Washu, Kiyone, Ryoko, Sasami, Ryooki, Aeka and Mihoshi, essentially all of the main girls. I sorted out the lines, 5-6 lines each by yourself, 2 full choruses together and 5 lines together in general. you might think it is sad i thought this out before anyone even agreed to do it, but i figured it would be easier to convince someone if they knew what it entailed already. plus, as i stated, i'm bored. TT_TT Next year, can we have it be held on Saturday instead? That's the only day during the convention I stay up past 12am. :/ I hope it was fun enough for it to happen again.
