I've read through the "best cosplay of 2006" thread on cosplay.com, but since I wasn't at the convention myself I'd love to know what people would like to see at next year's Costume Exhibit. I have a few ideas but haven't asked anyone yet about displaying their costumes as I'm still working on compiling a list.
Last year there were about 14 costumes; I've heard that I've got room for at least that many this year as well. Also, it doesn't have to be an entire costume - prop and accessory suggestions are welcome too.
Last year's focus was to give a brief history of AN's Best of Show winners among others as it was AN's 10th anniversary, but this year, thus far, I haven't decided on one, and don't want to repeat all the costumes.
There can be repeats from last year's display, so if there was something in the Exhibit that wowed you, or wish you had seen, please say so! Preferably, the costume will have been worn at AN06 or a previous Anime North, but if there was something from another convention (in TO) that you thought was really cool and would display well, suggest it anyway.
If you know which cosplayer wore/made the costume, please include that in your post! The more information you have the less work for me.
Remember that just because something is suggested doesn't mean it'll make it, but it'll give me more ideas (and of course, things would have to be worked out between the owner of the costume and myself).

how can i get on this?! as a strugling seamstress haveing my work on display would be a huge help! though i have to admit i dont know much about this costume exhibit. i didnt even know that it happend. . . .that just gose to show how much stuff there is at this con!
