I know they aren't Japanese, but they are touring the US, BoA is in the US right now too. I'd love to see Ayu in concert...there is a huge amount of Asian's touring the US, so it'd be easier to grab them.

He is a pretty good singer and he is notable for doing a bunch of theme songs for digimon (Butter fly is awesome!) I'm positive that he is not too busy. And he also did go overseas to several conventions in Brazil, Chile and (possibly) Argentina. So it is possible for him to visit here. I'm going to guess that it won't (relatively!) cost too much to bring him over.

I love her songs and she's voiced so many characters! She's got a really amazing, powerful voice, yet her voice range is so wide that I'm amazed when I realize she voiced certain characters from different series that sound absolutely nothing alike. Heh. Many of your choices in your list I'd be happy with too ZeroRin! I doubt any con will book a k-pop artist though.. it's always strictly J-pop/rock .__.; (or something japanese related idk) I don't know how Anime North's policy is on getting artists.. if they're the type to get INDIE artists then please get BOA. Her performances are GREAT. So much energy! I know it's all about J-ROCK in anime cons but srsly BoA is a great performer! ('Every heart' ftw?) She's such a sweetie and chill person with her fans as well..^^ (shameless advertising/ buy her english album at HMV >)

Mass of Fermenting Dregs would be pretty good too. I'd also say Envy, but I don't think they'd fit the occasion.
