Hi there everyone, this is Michael TK, who was in the Anime DDR Booth for almost the entire time of the con, watching people play, and did some freestyling on the DDR SuperNOVA machine that we were able to rent this year. If you still can't remember me, I was the one in the teal-ish minivan blasting off caramelldansen and watching people dance to it. At one point, we had a member of the con at the top of our car roof Saturday Night, dancing caramelldansen in front of the TCC.
I would like to thank all the con-volunteers, and staffs as well as the members of the con who participated in the event, and would like to give special thanks to:
- SFKhoa (He brought the RedOctane Afterburner Metal Pad)
- Joseph "Arokh" (He's the true co-ordinator of the booth)
The DDR/ITG Booth this year was spectacularly phenomenal, with some metal/soft pads gone haywire to breakdown due to the fact that con-members had put so much effort to it playing, we couldn't do anything but just to smile while their scores rocket sky high up to AA at one point. For me, I was personally just attracted to the arcade machine, and freestyled in double-mode mostly Kosaka Riyu songs to promote bouncy/upbeat mood that makes everyone happy. My arcade name is SAKURATK in capitals for the arcade machine in the booth, as well as Pacific Mall in Markham. (If you STILL can't remember me, I was the big asian dude who wore black most of the time, and managing the lineup for the Anime Booth).
Thanks to all the con-members who helped out as well as volunteers who tried to make the lineup flow much better. We couldnt've done it without you guys. We would also love to hear some inputs, criticisms about this year's con, as well as the future-ongoing next year's con revelations about how to make the DDR/ITG Booth better, and more naturally-flowed. In the end, everything went spectacular. Thanks to everyone, and hope to see you next year. =P
