Tournament this year at Anime North. Now here's the thing I don't really have any staff/referees to help me out. So if anyone would like to volunteer and help me referee the tournament on Saturday, please feel free to e-mail me at: Sparhawk1985@gmail.com I'm looking to hopefully get around 5-10 (hopefully closer to 10) people who can help me officiate all the matches and duels that will be going on at the tournament. The greater your understanding of the card game the better, I can also provide rule books for anyone who wants to brush up on their knowledge of the game. Posts: 2 (05/16/09 11:35 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	It is most likely too late to get you registered as staff, so you would have to purchase an ANPass first. Now what you could do is purchase the pass for the entire weekend, and if you work 16 hours over the entire weekend you can get Crash Space, and your money refunded to you for your AN Membership. If you don't need crash space then you would only need to work 10 hours (It's all detailed right here: http://www.animenorth.com/main/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=84:whats-the-reward-structure-for-so-many-hours-worked&catid=51:faq&Itemid=80). Now the tournament itself is 6 hours, plus probably an extra hour for set up and another hour for packing up, there's 8 hours right there. Another 2 hours and you can get your Anime North membership refunded to you. Another 8 hours and you can get that AND Crash Space. As for times, the tournament starts at 10am Saturday morning, so ideally I'd want you there at about 9am at the latest. And unless complications arise where someone has to run off and find Operation Services to take people away for fighting or something like that, the only things you need to do are: Judging, setting up, and packing up. I wanted to ask along with the volunteer hours, is there anything else that us "volunteers" can be getting or be even involved in the tournament (participating in it)? Also, I wanted to ask what is the tournament format and prizes? I could probably try to spread this around us yugioh players if needed. But yeah; I'm pretty curious to know how this 6 hour tournament is going to last and how it's formed. It'd be nice to get some details. Thank you in advance! -DJayman

This is gonna be my first year at anime north sooo yeah i hope i can help out next year as well
