Would love if Vic Mignogna could make it. He came in 2004, and I've yet to see him come again since. I'm sure all his other fangirls would love for him
to attend AN09 too. XD

I agree with all of these though i have to say of them all getting Mark Hildreth, Scott McNeil, and Vic Mignogna would make me a VERY happy fangirl.

Well I've been in contact with Mark in recent months on facebook...and he told me he's really wanting to get back into cons...so if you want Mark to
attend...EMAIL THEM!!!
Tho we also need to get more FEMALE voice actors out! So like...Laura and Colleen and Lucy would be awesome...and Veronica Taylor...she's nice...and the girl who plays Revy in Black Lagoon (I know her name but I don't know how to spell it so I'm not going to try lol) and Monica Stori and Saffron Henderson (tho I think I read somewhere she doesn't do cons anymore)

The thing that would make me (and I'm sure many, MANY others) the happiest girl/fan in the world would be if Ryusei Nakao was invited and
came to A.N! He's a rather regular attender of Animazement in Durham, NC, and is apparently one of the nicest, most enthusiastic, open (not to mention
talented and prestigious!) seiyuu guests you could ask for.
(i.e. original Freeza from DBZ, Mayuri Kurotsuchi from Bleach, Farfarello from Weiss Kreuz, Baikin-man from Soreike! Anpanman, Isamu Nishimura from Touch, Mataichi fom Requiem from the Darkness and SO many other appearances in pretty much any popular series, ever.) Please, please, please, ye gods in charge, take this into consideration! Thank you so much.

He's also very passionate about his job and the subjects that he writes. Unlike alot of mangaka who only go for good looking characters, weird setting
or money, he draws for his own passion.

I would hope that they at least brought in guests who are actively working I like Jeff and Quinton but they haven't been doing much the last year or so
besides Digimon and that's now over. I would hope that there is more then one actor from Texas.

For English voice actors, I can only think of the following: Patrick Seitz (Koshiro from Koi Kaze  )
Stephanie Sheh (Nanoka from Koi Kaze...I'm a little obsessed with that show >_>) Tristan Mcavery (Gendo ~) I can only think of two Japanese VA's right now. Ayako Kawasumi and Tomokazu Seki, and they'd have to be together because they are always together, seriously :P |

I think it would be really awesome to get as many people from the cast of Gundam 00 as possible. Hot new show, some of
the best Canadian voice talent, seems like a no-brainer to me if we can get them.
I'd really like to see: Brad Swaile - Brad is getting a lot of really great leads right now, he's really amazing with his fans (being called the next McNeil! lol), and he loves coming out to the Toronto conventions. If he's not otherwise booked, it's a win-win. Trevor Devall - He's in tons of shows, plus his interview podcast (Voiceprint with Trevor Devall) is really popular, and it would be super cool if he did a panel for it. Kirby Morrow - He's back from his travels and appearing in tons of new shows. We haven't seen him in awhile, and it would be great to meet him again. Scott McNeil - He hasn't been to Toronto in so long! Where is McNeil?? Maryke Hendrikse - Revy from Black Lagoon (would be great if you could get both her and Brad), she's such an awesome actress and we just don't get enough female VAs at our cons. Chris Patton - Increadibly funny!! Laura Bailey - Really sweet and funny, and again with the lack of female VA presence at cons. Mark Hildreth - I hear he wants to attend cons again, and I'd sure like to meet him!

the Funimation version of One Piece. This includes:

D':] Stephanie Young (Robin) Chris Sabat (Zoro) My mangaka choice is Yasuko Aoike, the creator of From Eroica with Love (Eroika yori Ai wo Komete). This Shonen-Ai Action manga has been running on and off since 1976, has gay art thieves that look like Robert Plant, German military men in denial, KGB spies from Russia, guns, flirting, one-upmanship, the works! I'd sell my SOUL to meet her. All who haven't read it, see this link for a review. (and for the love of god, look past the 70's art-style and read more than the first 2 issues; those bratty kids disappear and the GOOD stuff starts.) If not her, then the manga-duo known as Yudetamago, the creators of the legendary (in Japan) Kinnikuman. It'd be great timing, as 2009 celebrates Kinnikuman's 30th anniversary. <3 |
