There is nothing "objective" about whether something is good or bad. It is purely subjective and varies from person to person. I can easily say that show "A" is terrible because it is missing elements "X, Y, and Z", while another person may think the show is great because they don't care about "X, Y, and Z". A lot of the stuff that I hate, people love, and I'm sure that once I bring them up, I'll get hammered by lots of people as to why I don't like them, and why they are (supposedly) so great. I'm all for anybody and everyone to voice what they think sucks and have lots of back and forth as to why it does or why it doesn't.

The problem with bringing up anime that nobody has (or very people have) seen is that there's not too much to talk about, unless you want the panel to be just you up there, talking about some obscure show that (presumably) really sucks. The people who haven't heard of the show aren't going to get much and won't stick around, and so you're going to get stuck with a small group of people who've seen it and I don't know if that is a sign of a good panel. The panel should be for the audience, not the panelists. I may be going out on a limb here, but I would imagine that most people who will be coming to this panel, will probably have a set of shows that they think really suck and will want to talk about, and that list of shows that they'll want to talk about will include some shows with large fanbases. I don't think you're going to be able to avoid (and I don't think you should avoid) talking about popular shows that are bad, because that's what a lot of people will want to do. They will want to flame the Dragonballs, the Narutos, the Evangelions (just as examples, not that they are necessarily bad) until the cows come home, and I believe that this is what the panel should allow. Let the people talk about what they think is "really bad" and their justifications as to why they think so.

If you want to do a "So bad you've never heard of it" panel, then I would suggest changing the name of this panel, because "Really bad anime" does not necessarily disclude the large fandom animes, and it's a bit of a disservice to those who want to talk about "popular, bad" shows and who end up showing up, only to view the panel as a waste of their time.
