The 404s have been a fan favorite at Anime North for several years now, and we've been entertaining audiences with our completely improvised, completely hilarious comedy show every time! After last year's four-con tour in Oshawa, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, the "Eastside" cast of The 404s is delighted to be bringing the laughs once more to our flagship convention!
This year we're doing something a little different: in addition to our ever-popular "classic" show on Friday night, we'll be doing our crazy "late-nite" improv show on Saturday night. But in repsonse to the overwhelming "how do you guys DO this?!" sentiment we get from our fans, The 404s are pleased to present an improv workshop, also on Friday night! Please come to all our performances, lugh with us, and then laugh AT us as we feebly try to pass on what we know. :P
Here's the tentative schedule. We'll update it with the actual showtimes once we know them.
All shows are planned to be in the Missisaugua room at
the Doubletree Hotel:
Friday - Evening - The 404s' Classic Improv Comedy show!
Friday - Slightly Later Evening - The 404s Improv Seminar
Saturday - Late Night (not earlier than 11pm) - The 404s Late Nite Show (not adult humour, but not a show for the kids)
We promise a slate of new games, along with our old favorites, and as always some surprises are in store to get you smiling. As for the rest of the weekend, who knows? We usually end up popping up everywhere in the con, from thopening and closing ceremonies, to some of the game shows, and often the cosplay and J-pop concerts too. You never know where we'll be, or with who - but we garuntee it'll be a great time no matter what. See you there!
