Glad to see it's now official.

We'll see how her second convention appearance in North America goes, but I'm looking forward to seeing Halko and a handful of her Japanese fans at the event. (My sources say about a half-dozen of her fans from Japan will be in attendance at Anime North.) I wonder if they'll whip up a Call Book for the con...

I still haven't had a chance to get to the post office to start work on my replacement passport, but looking forward to how things go with the con.

I'll bet you $10USD I've been waiting to see her at a convention in North America longer.

We're glad to know there are fans in Canada waiting to see her and look forward to hanging out with the Canadian Momoi fans at the panel/concert/con.

BTW, you know how we have Memorial Day in the states? FanimeCon and such run through Monday since it's a holiday, so when most of us booked tickets, we just assumed... just noticed recently that it's ending on Sunday, so trying to figure out now what's cool to do in Toronto between the end of the con and Monday afternoon. (random plans during the trip so far are to find/try Poutine, go out for Churrasco, and so on...)

A few Momoi facts most people attending the con probably never knew:
- Allergic to Eggs
- Loves Peanut Butter-filled candy (Specifically mentioned Peanut Butter M&M's)
- Goes out of her way to be friendly and tries her best to make time for everyone
- Prefers it when as many people as possible use glowsticks at her concerts
- Has been telling me since 1999 non-stop that one of her huge goals is to put on concerts throughout North America, so this is a major step in that direction, which I'm sure she's very happy about.

I really wished my friend Phil Lee could make it up to see her as he's been witness to all this from the start, but alas he's working on his own con in North Carolina that same weekend.
(Last time I physically saw Phil we went to E3 together in Atlanta in 1997 on one weekend, and then the very next weekend hung out again at Anime Expo in Los Angeles. A few months later, went to Japan for the first time for Tokyo Game Show. That was a hell of a year...)

I've been waiting since November 1998. We finally met at Anime Expo last year and again last month in Honolulu.

I'm pretty sure there's going to be an autograph session and you'll be able to get a picture with her, I don't see an issue with that. (If you need someone to take the picture, feel free to ask.)

I forgot to bring some of the cooler merchandise with me, so I hope to get the rest of it signed this time. (Also, I have a few good questions in mind to ask her, assuming there's a panel...)
