Looking to volunteer at the con to get your entrance fee back and a few other goodies?
Well this is your chance!
Special Operations is always looking for volunteers who're diligent with whatever situation's thrown at them,
whether be it a large line up for the Masquerade, an emergency response that needs immediate attention for crowd control
or even being the breaker between the stage and the crowd & mosh pit during the J-Rock concerts!
The excitement never ceases with this volunteer opportunity.
If you do decide to volunteer during the convention, go to the ConSuite or ConOffice (people call it either) in the DoubleTree International Plaza
for more information, and a SpecOps will take you from there.
If you wish to redeem your hours for your entrance fee, there is a minimum of 10 hours of volunteer work to be recorded
by your supervisor by the end of the weekend. (Of course you may redeem your hours earlier if you complete them as par)
If you're one of those hard workers & decide to remain behind the scenes of the con for a little longer, a 16 hour redemption would get you;
Your entrance fee & a couple of goodies!
Otherwise, your other option to volunteer is to go to the Toronto Congress Centre,
across the road from the DoubleTree International Plaza (where the ConSuite is), and pack bags for dealers, artists & registration.
But of course, they would come with incentives of their own. But not as good as ours.
As usual, of course, all volunteers (within the DoubleTree International Plaza) would be given a single food coupon per day that they work,
the value being 8 dollars, BUT not eligible for a cash return or any cash change.
