now i'm immensely confused the schedule says that the rave is 10pm to 1am friday so is this final bananas or a clerical error ?

The Moonlight Ball and the J-Rave are both from 10pm Friday to 2am Saturday. There is also the Otakubaloo (parking lot rave) that is on at the TCC Patio over
the course of the weekend. So while the ball and the jrave are both at the same time, there is still the parking lot rave you can go to.
ViceCountofPizzaPockets: you are misreading the schedule. Each block is one hour and the number above it is the start time. The block with the 1am above it means that the event runs from 1 until 2. Another way you can see this is that the rave has 4 blocks highlighted showing it is 4 hours long. As it starts at 10, it ends at 4.

You MUST play Go Mario Go (Super Mario Compact Disco) if that's the case. Extended version, of course.
