Posts: 2 (03/13/08 10:11 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None I'm asking becuase I'm an avid collector of Japanese anime merchandise such as figurines, artbooks, and other odds and ends like cusion covers. However, as far as I know, none of these things are technically licensed, though I don't believe any are strongly illegal either (as opposed to bootlegs and fansubs). Basically, if I can find things like the stuff I'm looking for then it'll be worth looking around, but if it's all old DVDs and manga then I won't bother. Of course, no one is psychic, which is why I'm asking about last year. Help anyone?

Its a garage sale. Last year I saw DVDs, VHS, Manga, CDs, maybe some figurines and artbooks. I thought it was definitely worth the wait. I dont think you will find cushion covers there. (interesting idea though)

Posts: 1 (03/29/08 12:17 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	There were quite a variety of things there last year, besides the old run-of-the-mill items like manga/anime and CDs I remember picking up a beautifully illustrated inuyasha tarot set and some art/profile books along with some back issues of manga/anime/asian magazines like 'gothic lolita bible', 'shonen jump' and 'newtype' One guy was selling cosplay stuff along with a very nice rendition of a Sakura Haruno cosplay costume. There were plushies and nifty little trinkets here and there like key chains and small figurines. There were also a lot of people trying to sell their old pokemon/yugioh/digimon cards. My friends and I had a table and we had some magnets/stickers/bookmarks we made originally to sell at artist alley (we ended up on the mile long waiting list...obviously we didn't get a table there) we also had plushies, manga, magazines, CDs, and random odds and ends of all things anime :) One of my friends had drawn a beautiful piece of art and printed it on a canvas bag and sold it (was very nice) you really never know what you're going to find but it's worth a look if you have the chance. my friends and I are probably going to have a table again this year and we've got a lot of stuff to sell amongst ourselves.

Posts: 60 (03/30/08 08:48 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I found a few intriguing items last year, that I haven't seen/heard about before, including a few soft-body dolls of Kuwabara and Yusuke from Yu Yu Hakusho. I simply couldn't resist them! It's also a great place if you're looking to finish of some of your DVD collections; I found 3-4 DVD's I needed there for a decent price, and they worked great.

Posts: 291 (04/02/08 11:47 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	its a great place to look if your trying to find odd things or hard to find things. like last year i got my sanzo plushi and a hand made duo plushie. 2 things that i thought would never grace the serface of this blue ball we call home. this year i will be selling odds and sods of dvds and mangas, dnd dice bags in 2 sizes and taro card bags, chain mail bracelets (maybe on that one. it dosent quite fit the requirements) manga bags. yes smaller bags that you can fit up to 6 mangas in them at any time and posibly your wallet. They aren't allowed, only legal, official anime/manga merchandise and is allowed.
