You've got it. That's exactly what you'll need to do in order for you to sit with your aunt at the same table. Just give yourself and your aunt a keyword that we can use to know that you'd like to be seated together.

As for reserving a spot for your aunt, the important thing is that the reservation is done in a SEPARATE e-mail. (Send yours first since you're the one that's going to be wanting the spot anyway.) That's what matters. However we strongly suggest people reserve their spots on their own for your own sakes so that no blame is put on anyone else incase someone doesn't get their reservation. But otherwise yes.

And yes, if your aunt is selling for you, she needs to give us some sort of written agreement that can simply say, "I give so and so permission to sell my artwork with my full consent at the Artist Alley at Anime North 2008" And get her signature and yours on it. You'll need to give this to us the day you sign in on the first day of the con.

Kehrilyn:

1. For the sake of keep things official, yes it'd be best if you each made a written permssion stating something like, "I, _______, give [friend's name] & [friend's name] permission to sell my artwork and merchandise for me at the Artist Alley at Anime North 2008" and get then have the three of you sign it. That way we know that all three of you have given each other permission to sell each other's artwork.
2. You will give us your written agreements when you sign into the Artist Alley on the first day of the con.
3. It would be best, yes, for your friend to have a written agreement for her and yourself as well just to keep things safe.
