Didn't know where to post this question...but do the dealers charge taxes on their merchandise?

I... don't think so. Well, someone told me there are no taxes on manga, so there. There might be taxes to some place that sell brand new anime dvds, but
other than that, they probably don't charge us taxes.

Dealers are expected to fulfill their tax obligations, items sold at the convention are not automatically tax-exempt.

In most cases dealers simply round off the prices to make it easier to pay cash; the price you're paying includes taxes.
