The Anime Station.Net would like to know if anyone would be interested in a panel - if we hosted one in 2008? The Anime Station would sit down as a team and cover such topics as: Anime Websites (how to start a website, where to go with a website, and how to get an audience/etc) Anime Companies (where they started and how they built up such a successful business) We would also discus or answer any questions individually about our website, staff, history, how to get involved in acting and anything else that could come up in a fans mind. Between all our staff we have unique, diverse and professional backgrounds in website development, acting (for film/tv and voice), marketing, flash development , art and much more. and in the end we would have an open table discussion with the audience about certain topics that come up. An example of one of these topics would be: What do you think about Live Action Adaption of Anime? Can they be successful? What does it take? If people think this is a good idea, please let us know so we can make arrangements to work it out in more details as this is only an idea. (Last year people wanted to know more about who we were and here is your chance to both learn about us and learn from us). We are not sure if we will be able to host a panel or not at this current time for 2008 but we would like to see what the feedback would be on this idea. Panel Guru we would love your thoughts as well to even know if this could be possible? Thanks everyone!

If you don't mind me asking - will the panel focused on YOUR website (so kind of like the AnimeStation.net panel), or how to create a website? Sounds like a mix of both to me, which is cool! I personally think this would be interesting - but I haven't heard of your site before, are there enough people that know about your site whom would be interested on coming to your panel? You mentioned that you wanted to have an "Open" table discussion on other topics at the end - there are other panels for that, not sure what Fingers the Panel guru thinks about that. So yeah, good luck it by the way! Hm .. I should apply for a panel on my website too xD ... (obviously in another thread), I'm a staff at Anime-Source.com, and Admin at HostAnime.com btw. Well if your panel is approved, I'd definitely attend - your site design is amazing! - KingRoxas

Mind you, might wanna geet some of your people in the Panda Pit too Didn't I see you at Otakuthon at the Protoculture Addict thing ?

He has an Asian style drama podcasts. The workshop would have audience pick the actors, they record their lines in fornt of the audience then he show editing amd mixing levels. Then add sound FX and music for a final mix. I think those who have to mix their audio for masquerade would love this. His site is http://www.kungfuactiontheatre.com/.

Also I've have some insight into spammer's technics and their current campaign of targeting teen interest sites like anime. Also the pitfalls and advantage of CMS software like mediawiki (which Wikpedia uses) forum software and blog software like Wordpress. Also use of gallery web programs like QDig. Not to mention hard coding all these years. Also importance of stats program like AWSTATS so you know that people are actually visiting and from where.
