Is there anyone monitoring this area? I mean, here we are, desperately requesting voice actors and we have no idea if anyone is listening or if anything is being done! I mean, have any of our suggested voice actors been contacted??? And if so, what's the status on them? Can they come? Do they have another commitment, what??? Yes, I've seen the end result, for example, Brad Swalie, but it would have been awesome to be informed that he had been contacted in the first place with updates after that. PLEASE?!?! It's getting SO close to the con and I'm DESPERATE to know if Yuri Lowenthal, Steven Blum and Crispin Freeman have been asked to come and if it's just a confirmation issue right now or whatnot!!!!

We look into the guests that are suggested here, but often they have other commitments already, or we have no room left in the guest budget for a given year or any number of other reasons. And another well damn to those three not coming:( sigh Sure makes it hard on my fangirl heart, such disappointment...But could I ask if they WERE asked? And what the issue was? As far as I know, all three of them have never attended AN before, and the only thing close was when Yuri Lowenthal attended CN Anime that one time, but I couldn't go due to AN eating all my money just before...

I'd like it if Jim Su could come back to Anime North. He's a character modeler from Season 4 of ReBoot, he was selling posters and ReBoot artbooks last year. If possible I'd also like to see Gavin Blair, co-creator of ReBoot. It'd be awesome to see both of them at Anime North.

Posts: 17 (05/07/08 09:11 PM) Moderator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Quite honestly, a lot of invitations get sent out to VAs every year and if they are not coming it is because a) no replies to invitation b) they are too busy and can't come and c) they are attending another con. The same process is done with N.American or Japanese VAs. Revealing which situation in regards to why the VA isn't coming is not professional and I am sure they will not appreciate angry fans emailing them in regards to this. If a VA isn't 100% confirmed their names are not posted to avoid disappointing everyone. For people with VA suggestions it would be great if they also email contact information to us to speed up the communication process.
