Hey, just a question about the fanfiction contest. (I'm pretty sure this wasn't mentioned in the FAQ, and if it was, it's wasn't explained in enough detail for a poor simpleton like me to understand). ^^;;;
On the main fanfiction contest page, it states in the rules that "Stories must be strongly based on original continuity - No alternate universes, re-mapping of characters [etc]." I was wondering about this, because I have an idea for a fanfiction about Ryuichi Sakuma (Gravitation), but it is strongly focused on his past, which isn't given too much explanation throughout the series (at least, none that I've seen). So, would it be acceptable to submit a story about his past (the way that I perceive it), as long as it stays within the parameters of his character?
