As a musician by trade, I find that one of the most important parts of any long trip (like the 5+ hour ride I am taking from Sudbury) requires good tunes. This year, I am planning on a rather wide variety. I've loaded some of the following albums on my iPod for the ride: - Pain Of Salvation's discography - Opeth - Watershed - Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts, and Year Zero - Riverside's discography - Divinity Destroyed - Death Or Glory - Devin Townsend - Ziltoid The Omniscient - Indukti - S.U.S.A.R. - Orphaned Land - Mabool So a lot of metal and progressive rock, with a bit of industrial. And a little bit of anime music (like the Spice And Wolf OP and ED, perfect traveling songs). Now, go ahead and post your own playlists and preferences for the ride there and back

Along with some Rammstein and various other metal and techno songs, I'll have the sped-up Caramelldansen, Motteke! Serafuku (which I always have on everything), some weird mixes and things, and a good ol' fashioned Rickroll in store for my friends on the road. Oh, and Stephen Lynch's Special Olympics. Owell in anycase it's good to know I'm not the only one commuting from the north. As for my choice of music I think I'm gonna try to play through Kamelot's Epica and The Black Halo albums then it will be random Ipod tunes. Everything from Buddy holly to Coheed and Cambria to Yuuna's Banana song. Probably some metal too depending on whether I get bored of music and go for my book.
