Welcome one and all.
Jrock North and a few of us have teamed up to make Jrock North this year amazing.
It's been too quiet at AN for us Jrock fans and this year we have made is a priority that we have Jrock this year loud and proud!
We call it a revival!
We need panelists and those who want to participate in activities and such.

I have been self studying Japanese (speaking, reading and writing) for a while now (I know japanese can be an option during high school, but I didnt have the chance for such option). I currently am taking Conversational Japanese I course in the local college (which was going slooooower than I expected mainly due, i think, to one classmate that stared from square one and takes his own pace). just a thought - there was a 'how to get a con girlfriend' panel, though I heard it was a bit of a mess. So how about, next year, we have a way to post a little bit about yourself for people to peruse.

that way, it'll make introducing yourself and finding people with similar interests a lot less painful.

Just curious.

The make up panel by our Costuming GOH was standing room only, so I think we're going to look to expand the
make-up panels to include different & more advanced techniques.

Unfortunately I didn't make it to any non-costuming panels myself.

A longshot, but was anyone recording this year's Create that Yaoi? I was the guy in the GIR suit and some of my friends missed the crazy stuff I said.. so I'd like togets a copy of it if someone happens to have ^^ Onegai shimasu! Please let me know! Thanks!

Photo ID for 18+

You need a photo ID with your age (which I have only seen in the form of your date of birth) on the same piece of ID. Anything you need to get in a bar would work. Photocopies are too easy to fake, so bring the original (if you have the original to photocopy, why not bring that?). If you come without the original but have a photocopy be prepared to not be let in.

I have a slight problem. I am of age to watch it and buy it, but I do not have a driver's license or a photo health card. I do have old school photo ID and my birth certificate, but I don't think that will be accepted as ID for some reason. Any mods or panel heads wanna let me know how screwed I am? Do you even ask for ID?
