So this year at anime north (2009) I fell in love with a leopard hoodie but didn't have the money for it at the time so I got the womans card and was planning on buying said hoodie but now that I have the money I am unable to find the card. I've tried many diffrent types of googling to try and find the company I was wondering if there was a map that said who was where I remember it was on the wall along where the entrence and the exit was around the gothic/ costum stores it was around...

I bought this Code Geass necklace from the Dealer's Room at the very very top where they were selling all the jewlery and the wallets and stuff and I just wanted to know if anyone knew like...the name of that company or store or something...>.<

game troubles

I bought a game at one of the game booths at anime north this year and one of the disks doesn't work.
I know there were at least two game booths in the dealers room.
One was 1-up,
and the other is the one i need to know so if anyone can help that would really help.
I also lost the bill so thats not going to help my cause...

I'm interested in buying a few ActionFlex foam swords for practicig with my friends after the con, but I was wondering if anyone AT the con was selling them. I know I can buy them online or generally from martial arts supply stores, but that takes away from the fun of buying swords at AN. (I'm going to buy a real katana too lol)

I've heard that Kikiwai (in Chinatown Center on Spadina) has been sold, or gone out of business of sorts. Apparently the store, which has had a dealer's table probably as long as the convention has been around, hasn't been open since December. Can anyone confirm this? Or shed some light on what happened? They've been around a long long time and it's a real shame to see them go under, although even recent years I've found other sites to get their same merchandise for...

Dealer list

Is there a way we could have a list of Dealers already confirmed for 2009? I have a item I'm looking for and wanted to check if it was going to be available there. I did the same thing last year, but alot of previous dealers don't say AN on their con lists.

When will dealer invoices be sent out?

I'm a returning dealer who already paid the deposit for this year. I think its around February that we get our dealer invoices. Is there any specific date that those e-mails will be sent out? I just want to keep an eye out for it.

I've been frantically trying to get in contact with someone to ask about a dealers table for Anime North 2009. I'd like to rent a table this up coming year for the entire 3 day period. But when I contacted the persons in control of dealers room tables, I failed to recieve a response. (I contacted Via email)

Could someone please explain to me what I need to do in order to obtain a table.

Counterfeit merchandise

Can we please get an easier way of cracking down on sellers selling counterfeit merchandise? This is a particularly big problem with CDs ... there are lots of sellers with unauthorized Chinese bootlegs. I would like to see signs around the convention saying "Selling counterfeit merchandise is ILLEGAL" with instructions on what to do on suspicion of counterfeit merchandise. Spotting counterfeit CDs is so easy and it's really inexcusable that these vendors are allowed to prey on...

Not many people seem to post here... A bit of digging has found me a dealers table at anime north...

I'm lucky enough to have a company to back me, but I really would rather be in the artist's alley, where I know I can earn the coin back it cost me to get the table XD

If this doesn't go over well, my boss will be... shall we say, unimpressed?

But whatever.
My first con doing anything along the lines of sales... Lets see where it goes!

My boyfriend (and business partner and I) were considering reserving an artist alley space to sell silver anime and gaming based handcrafted jewellery at the convention, but we were travelling until just recently, and we missed our chance to reserve a table. OMG you should see the swords we have this year, they look so amazing we have new bigger and more detailed Final fantasy swords. as well as swords from bleach and bloodrain and much more.
